Redesign, Realign, Whatever.
Monday, January 9th, 2006
That’s right, 36 degrees design has changed clothes. Call a redesign, realign, whatever you like. The site has had a complete overhaul and I’m still putting the finishing touches to it. I’ve also moved over to wordpress from the system I have been fighting with for a couple of years.
Feature-wise, the site hasn’t changed […]
Wifi - Prospects and Problems
Thursday, January 12th, 2006
With the news last week that Cloud and British Telecom would be teaming up to provide wifi access to eight urban centres in the UK this year, including liverpool, I let out a little yelp of excitment. Living, as I do in Liverpool, and within spitting distance of the city centre, I am therefore hopeful […]
My thoughts on MediaCentral
Tuesday, January 17th, 2006
In the pursuit for a music system for the lounge of my flat, I have been testing out a nice piece of software called MediaCentral. Still in the early stages of development, it’s fair to say that this is a free alternative to apples own media centre application - Frontrow, but it does have […]
36 Degrees widget V2
Wednesday, January 18th, 2006
Since the site has been overhauled, I thought it time to take another look at the dashboard widget I had created a while back for the RSS feed here at the site. The first widget was a clumsy, graphically poor effort from someone looking at widgets from the inside for the first time. This time […]

As of midnight, that’s it, the last strands of my youth will be ripped away from. I’m 21, which to me seems more than a little bit bizarre. The last five or so years seem to have just flown by. Hopefully the next ten will go a little slower, as judging by the male members […]

InstruMENTAL!
Monday, January 30th, 2006
Whether this is of any interest to anyone but me is debatable, but what the hell. I was messing around in Garageband and sort of playing ‘High and Dry’ by radiohead. I thought it might be fun to just roll with it and make a shitload of noise. If that sounds like something you would […]

How about some photos, links or a feed
Welcome to 36 Degrees Design. This website is the personal portfolio and journal of Stuart Frisby, a web designer in Liverpool, England. I create websites using the latest in web standards, and can offer you a personal service, as well as over five years of professional experience in the web design industry.
I am currently studying at John Moores University in Liverpool for a degree in International Business Studies & Japanese. I sing, play the guitar (poorly), I am a Coventry City fan, and despite that, I enjoy football, and most other sports from the comfort of an armchair.
My favourite band are Radiohead, my favourite author is H. Murakami, my favourite film is Fargo and my favourite colour is, well, blue, actually.
There is a chance that you don’t want a website at all, and that being the case, you may like to take a browse through my blog, or delve into the music section where you can download some of my material. feel free to have a good nose, and do give me a shout via the contact section if you have something on your mind.
