You may enjoy a selection of songs performed by yours truly. The more recent of my recordings have been done using my Macbook Pro and an AKG C1000S acoustic microphone via garageband. The mic is great and if you’re after a robust, inexpensive mic to record simple acoustic stuff on, this is great. I usually record everything on a single track but have been known to fart around adding backing vocals or second guitars.
My guitar playing is basic, I really only play in order to sing, and that’ll be obvious if you’re a real guitarist! Anyway, it’s all good fun, and you’re more than welcome to download any of these MP3 files for your amusement. The first bunch of songs were performed by Ben Frenchman and I, we went under the name of ‘Hang up, Call back’, and I’m very much hoping we get to do some more music together when the opportunity presents itself.
